General Would you try this Google Chrome extension?

So I was browsing Reddit and I found people talking about this Chrome extension. It's called Tab for a Cause, and what it basically does is when you open up a new tab, this happens. 

 

 

Ads appear, and at the bottom left, you see I'm a level two, the more tabs you open, the more hearts you gain which you can then donate the ad-revenue to selected charities. Now obviously you're not donating full dollars since you only get pennies, if that, from ads. But anything is worth it no?

 

 

I found it really interesting and I wanted to see what you guys think about this. Would you allow ads if they were presented like this instead? Knowing they were actually going to charities? Just wondering.

If it goes to a charity, I would definitely install it.

If the addon is legit, and the money actually goes to Charities, then I would install it.

 

As long as it doesn't ruin browser experience, it's good.

I've just downloaded the app, it pretty awesome, if they are truly put the money to a charitable organisation, and it not wasted on administration. But it awesome to be able to generate charity revenue through such a passive mean and apparently they've generated over 200k for charity; I'll keep the extension for the week and see if it has any performance issues, crushes etc/

 

Thank for sharing the info on it, I doubt I'd have come across it otherwise.
