Guide How to SSH into your iDevice via USB! [iFunBox & PuTTY]

In this topic, I will be simply explaining how to SSH into your iPhone/iPad/iPod via USB Connection (without Wi-Fi).

Why is this useful? Well, USB connections are faster and more reliable.

You only need iFunBox and PuTTY. iFunBox is used to open up the port and PuTTY to actually SSH into your iDevice. If you're on a Mac, you can simply use the Terminal there as I believe this tutorial also works on a Mac (untested this but if it doesn't work, you can try USBMuxd).

-

Download iFunBox from here and install it: http://i-funbox.com/en_download.html

Download PuTTY portable .exe from here: https://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe

-

1. Connect your device to your PC via USB Cable.

2. Open iFunBox, make sure your device appears as connected and click on the 'Quick Toolbox' tab, then click on 'USB Tunnel' option.

3. Minimize iFunBox and open PuTTY.

Enter 127.0.0.1 for Host Name and leave the port to 22 then click 'Open'.

4. When asked for a username, enter root (or any other user you want to login as). And for password, enter your root's password. Usually alpine if you haven't changed it.

5. Done! :)

To verify that it's not using Wi-Fi, turn off the Wi-Fi on your iDevice.

      Hey Guys
The process of Jailbreaking can sometimes be annoying if you run into technical troubles or issues. But do not worry, its fun to solve technical problems and feel special ultimately, tough following written guides for most of us become a little difficult, video tutorials are more easier to understand.
With this tutorial you will be mostly able to fix all Cydia or Jailbreak related errors as it will delete the entire existence of the Jailbreak, which will ultimately fix many issues persisting such as DPKG_LOCKED etc.
      Hope it helps guys!

      How the error looks like:

      How to fix:
      1. If you're on Windows, install 7zip & then open the .ipa with 7zip as archive. If you're on mac, rename it to .zip & then extract it by double clicking it.
      2. Double click payload & double click the .app (on MacOS you need to right click .app & click "show package...")
      3. Search for a file called "Info.plist" & double click it or drag it into a text editor.
      4. Search for "UISupportedDevices" & something like this will popup:
      5. Add your device from the Cydia Impactor error to the array.

So if it says "Device iPad5,4 not in SupportedDevices list' add it like this:

      6. If you're on windows, save the file & install the .ipa, if you're on MacOS, go back to where the payload folder is located, select all files from there & compress it (make zip) & then rename it to .ipa instead.

However, sometimes the developers have a valid reason for not adding your device & the app won't work properly.

Hello, today I'll show how to hack in-app purchases on iOS 11 (tested on Plague. Inc & Hill Climb Racing).
Doesn't work for every app, just those that uses StoreKit. No settings or app, it's always on for every app!
Should work for any iOS version (tested on 11.1.2 & 11.3.1).

Install the package using Filza, iFile or with dpkg in command line as such:
      dpkg -i /path/to/hack.deb

Now go press buy on something in whatever app you want, when the popup appears just press cancel and you'll still get it if the app is supported

Since Bishop Fox's tool for Electra's broken I thought that I'd share a tutorial to make it work. All credits to Bishop Fox.

This is for the people that had cydia crashing, constantly getting rebooted on 2/3 and overall not having any luck with this jailbreak at all. I was rebooted after a couple of hours of having fun on cydia on the day the jailbreak came out, it was due to an incompatible tweak that rebooted me and took my jailbreak away. After not being able to jailbreak since the jailbreak first came out, i got jailbroken. Lately i tried every single method in the book, disable siri, disable passcode, airplane mode, clear RAM, none of it worked. I did this on all versions of the developer jailbreak and the non developer jailbreak, i just kept getting rebooted over and over and over again on 2/3. I tried atleast 500 - 1000 times using all of the above methods, no luck at all.  All you have to do is go to the electra app, i used Electra 1.0 vfs and it worked 1st try. Go to the Electra app and disable the tweaks option, and now tap enable jailbreak. If you had a crashing cydia, cydia will now work. If cydia isn’t there, just use ssh. There you have it, ssh is now available and you can now use cydia.

Once you open cydia, uninstall the tweak that took away your jailbreak, that made you reboot, and then hold power and swipe to unjailbreak. Go back to electra and turn tweaks on and then enable jailbreak. It was actually a tweak that was preventing me to jailbreak the whole time.
