[News] Do not change your iOS Device's date and time to this... Bricked device

Several people have found out that when you change the date and time on your iDevice to January 1, 1970, it will permanently brick your 64bit iOS device. Now, if you do this, you can't fix it by doing a DFU Restore or Recovery Mode restore. You either HAVE to go to the Genius Bar to get it fixed or you can manually disconnect the battery and reconnect it.

Do not try this at home, kids. I'm warning you.

Then I recommend removing this topic so less people know about this and won't try it...

I'm just letting people know, so when a friend knows about it and they ask you to do it as a prank, you'd know.
