What IS A PS3 CID

 

 

This is a CID = PSID.

Basically it's used for Jailbroken PS3's on a CFW (Custom Firmware) Which can either be DEX or CEX 4.70 or 4.76 Habib.

How it works is you download a CID Manager on your Laptop and connect your Ps3 with it. When your PS3 gets banned from Playstation Entertainment, you enter this CID into the Manager on the laptop and inject it, which then changes your Console ID (CID) allowing you to access online gaming again.

CID's are taken from OFW (Original Firmware Playstations) before they go through a Jailbreak process.

For anyone who want's to know how to JB a PS3, you need to buy an E3 Flasher and make sure you have a working brain. Only an E3 Flasher can JB a Ps3... So don't believe any USB Jailbreaks that you may find online because they will NOT work!.

You can use a CID on as many PS3 as you want, the problem is once it's banned by you or something else with it, then no one can use it! so in other words you all get BANNED

When your PS3 is Jailbroken you can download tools on the internet that can help or prevent you from getting banned, but to mod things you need different Booters also, which are known as E-Boots.

You will need 2 E-Boots to mod games such as Call of duty. 1 E-Boot for Multiplayer and another 1 for Zombies.

But this isn't the case with all games.

      STEP 2: Download Sideloadly and install it on your Windows or Mac.
