Most of features fall under marketing or "spec race" and trends. The breakthrough of smart phones passed on 2008. The market is over saturated with bs tech and marketing gimmicks in a shitty java android, but if you have cash to burn, while apple has its own monopoly and refuses to make useful upgrades and is close source/closing on exploits . Keep throwing money though every year while they make billions.
