Lol kinda late replying but: on the ps3 the first cfw ready to be installed and everything was already on FW 3.54 so... That wasnt even that many years after the ps3 came out, the slim wasn't even out yet. It was after years out.

Btw before it was released they already found out how to jailbreak, so it was pretty fast.

 

On the ps4 well, sony did make it much harder to jailbreak but it's not impossible and the ps4 is out since longer than a year.

Btw: there are already CFW made for the ps4 but are not ready to be installed so.. Close maybe.

Lol what are you talking about? Yes i do have a CFW/jailbroken ps3, actually i have 2. But one broke...

 

Do not download any FW from youtube or anything. All fake above 3.55 FW. You have to downgrade your ps3 phat/slim with an e3 flash. Google it, downgrade ps3 e3 flasher. You will find it
