PS4 {Edited} PS4 Jailbreak only 1.76 offline

i think modding ps4 is hard. so they make it for themselves, thats what i would do if i was a modder. because the mod was hard to make i dont want it to be patched yet. but! if they fully hack the ps4 and block feature updates/ bans ... etc they will publish it. like ps3 ... its 2017 nothing is unhackable !

On my first ps4 I had issued trying to update the console which was down to a updat.pup file issue on my console.

 

I had to phone sony and ask them what to do... they asked me for my console code and force updated my console from their end.

 

That's how I new it was server run and not updated by choice in the firmware. 

 

Sony can't force update a PS3 which is where the issue lies with the Jailbreak and that's why they can't stop it... as long as someone finds a way to spoof the new updates it's impossible for them to patch it.

 

Obviously that brings you to the explanation of why they changed their update ways and also they changed their Debug Settings etc... However... Some of this stuff has already been hit hard and their is now exploits you can download and inject to your PS4 to essentially have a little jailbreak. It allows you to run LINUX on your PS4 and allows you to install ISO files from the internet (no more paying for games). I have a 2nd PS4 on 1.76 firmware (Not updating) and this is simply because the exploits that you need to change the way the PS4 works is only available on 1.76... So the odds are IF they EVER make a jailbreak for the PS4... It will never be like the PS3 but it will still be somewhat good... However... I'm staying on 1.76 because If I update... I can't do all of this fancy stuff with my PS4 because it's patched after that firmware version.

 

eventually they may find a way to spoof updated... But it will be almost impossible to find a way to downgrade the firmware on a PS4... Only way to get a PS4 on 1.76 atm is buy an old batch of the console from like game or something... then it will be on firmware 1.76... My feelings tell me that once all this finishes and CTurt finally finishes his achievement of jailbreaking a PS4... all consoles on 1.76 will be worth a god dam fortune just because modders a like will want these consoles.
