So my girlfriend entered the password wrong to many times and got my iPod locked and to top it off the sleep button is broken . Is there any way I can fix this with a program that auto restores it or am I just f**ked?

Don't you have to wait like 30 minutes before you can re-enter your password again?

She put it to many times so it locked

It tells me to go on iTunes but I can't turn it off to restore it cause the sleep button is broken.

This is what my iPod says "iPod is disabled connect to iTunes" but I can't cause I can't turn it off do to my sleep button being broken

Is it Jailbroken? Do you have OpenSSH installed?

You can also try and leave your phone on until your battery drains and then you can enter recovery mode when you plug in your phone. That's in theory but it might work.

And the battery is dead but still won't work.

Your iPhone still won't work even though you've plugged it in via USB?

You're not Jailbroken so you only have iTunes...

Yea cause I never connected it to iTunes cause I never had to. I regret it now cause I don't think ill be able restore it.

So iTunes has never synced with your iPod before?

This is bad.

I thought iDevices had an expiry time when you can re-enter your passcode again after many failed attempts?

Yea I never synced it ..

And no it gives you like 2 more chances after you wait 30 minutes and if you enter it wrong again it disables it till you restore or connect it to iTunes.

I'm sorry then, I don't know of any way to bypass it. I'll leave this thread open and hopefully someone might come with a fix.
