2This is not just a period of abstinence from food and drink, but also internal asceticism, education of the soul and spirit. And you can also lose weight. I personally think that this is a day of change. In which we change for the better.

2-- The month of Ramadan is one of the five compulsory creeds for Muslims.  This is the fourth creed, which says Must comply with the rules for 30 days of Ramadan.
When preparing to enter Ramadan, the newspapers of Arab countries as well as Muslim countries have articles clearly stating the meaning of each of the aforementioned regulations.  Firstly, fasting is to have sympathy for the poor, the fellow believers who have not enough food and clothes.
Second, this act is to train people to have a moderation, to resist material temptations, to facilitate the future going to heaven.
