I posted this on “status updates” about 12 hours ago and thought I would post it here as well.

I just got off the phone with my bank. My credit card information was taken and used to make several purchases for Amazon digital services in the amount of $10.84 (USD). The person in the fraud department at the bank said they were getting a lot of calls for the same problem and he thinks that Amazon, or a portion of, may have been hacked. If you have an Amazon account you may want to check it or check your credit card statement.

This has happened in just the past few days. I had problems on my account back to the 12th of March. I hope no one else is having problems but it is better to check, rather sooner than later.

That's why I don't prefer ordering online, sometimes because of the poor delivery services you can lose your money. Still, when you are constrained to purchase something online, you have to be very careful and intelligent in these kinds of situations. For instance, I am always using an international package tracking system to make sure that my parcel is safe, and I won't lose any money. So, guys, I will recommend you to be careful when buying online, to avoid any awful situations. I hope you guys are having a good day.

Now I really am scared. I make orders on Amazon every other day. Half of the things from my apartment are from there. I have been following https://www.dontpayfull.com/explore to always see the latest new products. And now I find out it was hacked. I hope they will fix this as soon as possible and recompensate the money. If they get into my Amazon account, they will have a lot of money to take. And I don't really look forward to losing them. I'm really sorry this has happened to you. I hope you will get the money back.

I was as unlucky as you were. But I didn't get it from the start. I ordered a smart scale from Amazon some time ago. I WAS SCARED when I was charged 14 dollars from my bank account. But I called the bank and was told it was from Amazon, and I thought maybe it was for some taxes. I received the order and wrote in the survey that it should have been better if I was announced by the additional charge before it was taken out of my credit card. Later, I got an email stating no money was taken beside the initial charge. Then I realized I probably got robbed a little.
