General Move from Shoutbox to IP.Chat?

Hello!

 

After reviewing some analytics, I noticed that 50% of the users use their mobile to browse iOSGods. This means that ~50% of our users cannot chat with us on the shoutbox since shoutbox isn't available on the mobile skin.

 

 

My question is, should we move from Shoutbox to IP.Chat?

 

 

We've discussed this before and Shoutbox one. But maybe things have changed?

 

Here's a comparison between Shoutbox and IP.Chat.

 

 

We can still keep the shoutbox and make it only accessible via the shoutbox page, not on board index.

nah, I.P Chat won't be as active on mobile/desktop. I suggest finding a mobile-alternative for Shoutbox

Shoutbox should be renamed to Chatbox

Also, I just browse in desktop mode on mobile lol. So I can still use shoutbox. It's just a pain.
