This idea emerged when we were debating on shoutbox..

 

 

 Adding a poll to every hack topic (a poll could be integrated in the cheats topics templates)

 

 

On the top of the topic would exist a poll with the following options: (this ones are just a simple example)

 

. Working

. Not Working

 

 

If we implement a poll on cheats topics community will provide feedback to the owner of the cheat, so he can fix it without having to check all the comments above, that sometimes are useless and dont provide any feedback

That's up to the author of the hack.

 

And we can't rely on polls to determine whether a hack works or not because there's always some people who can't get it to work or the hack has some special requirements etc.

 

Once a user enters the topic, sees the poll's results and if there's too many negatives, he'll just leave without trying it for himself.

But then every time the cheat works or doesn't work again, the poll has to be reset

it's my suggestion, I want this coding center limit to at least senior member who completed it's 30 posts can access it. at least newbie can't access it easily to avoid leachers. they have to complete 30 posts first and limit the coding center view to 4 topics in a day for new users so they can't leach our all data at a time.... it's my suggestion. u can make it better by your contribution. I love this forum, all cheaters and other ppl work,

Basically the idea is a version check. When somebody creates a cheat topic they have to fill in another form with the iTunes URL and another with the hack version. The system compares the version of the AppStore with the thread and auto gives a warning when the cheat is outdated. This is really spare idea but I thought about it after Raggnar's suggestion.

Yes, I remember this on the old iah. Not sure if it's do-able on IPB though and if it is possible, we would need to hire someone to do it but it would be worth it!

 

The problem is that whether we should get someone to do this for us on IPB3 or IPB4? If we do it now, we will lose it when we upgrade to IPB4...
