Help/Support Transferring iPhone Pictures — Is Impossible?!

iPhone X 12.4.1 — Bought November 2018z

 

Phone is unbelievably full. The phone had crashed one night and photos were duplicated and space on the phone is occupied, apps fail to run properly, and backing it up is impossible!
 

I’ve tried using iTunes, but it tells me an error had occurred, tried troubleshooting using every method. No luck.

 

Tried the application -AnyTrans- but it did not back up all photos, only about 17 out of tens of thousands.

 

Tried manually dragging and dropping / copying and pasting the folders to my external hard drive, but it says device is not reachable at some point.

 

Please help me. I have valuable photos that are irreplaceable and would be so heartbroken to lose them.

Hello,

Have you tried iFunBox? You can just copy paste the images to your computer.

Windows should have the option to view your photos via explorer too.

I couldn’t download iFunBox, the download link led me to 500 Interval Error. 
 

As for Windows Explorer, at some point it says it cannot detect the device midway of the copy and pasting.

iMazing was one I tried, but dragging and dropping with that gave me an error as well. Saying “img name” is locked by iOS.
