It's a lot more easier than you all think. Make it so you need to write a certain amount of characters.

 

After that, DiDA updates the rules and adds that if you write a spam comment "ieubgfiysb", you get warned. Simple as that.

 

On top of that, you add a bind to where after you comment, you must like the topic as well in order to unlock the hidden content. Other forums do it, and it works just great. Resolved.

Make the spam even bigger and get more people banned which will make even more people hate us.

 

The only effective way to prevent spamming is to remove the hidden content or make it so that it can only be unlocked by pressing 'thanks'. That we cannot do right now since the mobile skin doesn't support the thanks button. But When we upgrade our forum software, we will add this.

More people banned? Is that a problem? I thought that we didn't condone spamming. If certain new people want to be spammers, and they get banned, that's their fault.

We're already forcing them to register and reply to be able to download and adding a character limit will make people angry and cause more spam.

This forum is still the best source for jailbreak stuff and cheats/hacks. It's not like they got anywhere else to go.
