Are there any battery improvements on iOS 8.4?

I'm still on iOS 8.3 and if I remember correctly, when 8.4 was in beta, some users would say the battery life was improved considerably!

But now that has kinda faded away and the focus is more drawn towards the new Apple Music, but I'm not interested in that. I wanted to know from the people that updated to 8.4 whether battery life is any better or the same? :)

I haven't updated, but there have been many reports that the battery life is actually worse because of Apple Music draining it.

If you don't care about Apple Music, you should just stay with 8.3 until there's a fix.

The changelog is just Apple Music, iBooks and that effective power bug. :ermm:

Uh-huh, so not worth?

You could always update for a day and see the difference in battery yourself...but the problem with that is if they stop signing 8.3 the next day.

Yes and I'd have to reinstall everything including Cydia and the tweaks.

My point exactly, not worth it if you don't plan on using Apple Music a lot.  (y)

I'd recommend, what I believe you're planning on doing, staying on 8.3

Yeah, staying on 8.3 for now. I can always update since the Jailbreak is out.

More tweaks will support the new iOS version till I update. :)

There is definitely a battery improvement, so much better battery life for me

Serious?

Apply Music for over 7-8 hours, about 1 hour of YouTube, and my phone just dropped to 20%.

That's good, I guess. But yours is an iPhone 6 Plus.
