  1. I found a university that had students who founded Halfbrick Studios. If I go there, I could get an internship :)))

Maybe if they develop a new game, I could release the BETA source code :p

  2. For me personally, I would love it if you made an iOSGods theme with a clean, flat, minimalist design, complete with beautiful long shadows, creative yet functional vectors and some surprises here and there.
  3. What about a special someone? *cough*Goggwell-Is-Awesome*cough*
  4. Yeah alright I'm gonna switch it soon
  5. Yea, it looks great
  6. As of now, I do not have specific requirements for the GFX rank, so long as you keep posting your work and show improvement And if you'll be beneficial to the GFX team and the forum, you're guaranteed a spot
  7. Oh bruh that's easy You said it'll take you a year to learn that on Obj-C from the start, but I learned how to create In-Game Menus and more in the first week
  8. Yeah, the current logo is amazing! OgreSnot's vector creations are amazing. Nice font choice of Ubuntu I don't see why we should change it, unless perhaps somebody could do a better vector.
  9. If you find joy in something, you're doing it right - Goggwell's Fail Quotes
  10. You can hack and design at the same time Why don't you stay on GFX? Your works are getting better Here, try and make me a header for my profile, cause my current one is getting old
  11. Seems nobody replied to this topic and nobody liked it because I kept the link unhidden... I would really appreciate it if you show some love by LIKING and COMMENTING
  12. The highly anticipated bundle is HERE! Sorry for the LONG WAIT, but I have finally finished uploading the ENTIRE bundle! Here's the link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/kennwtn56c9ahqu/The_Extravagant_Bundle.zip Some specs: - Size: 800MB - Contains: Random Code and GFX Gear I'll include a changelog soon, as I need to add more stuff to it
  13. I have Windows 8 1. I had my anti-virus program on before Google Chrome stopped working, so I don't think that's the cause of the problem. 2. I have no plugins other than the ones pre-installed 3. Chrome was already installed onto my laptop when I first got it 4. I don't think so, but since I'm gonna re-install Chrome, I don't think I'll be backing up anything, cause there's nothing to backup. Also, I made it to C:\Users\\AppData\Local but couldn't find Chromium The --reduce-gpu-sandbox method is the one I have not tried yet, and I will do that if my problem still persists after re-installing Chrome.
  14. @@DiDA Nope, still doesn't work. IDK what's going on @@SmarTyTurK I'll check it out
  15. Not really sure how to replicate the error. But I think it's based on the browser. I've been using Google Chrome to load iOSGods, and now all of a sudden it stopped working. Same on Internet Explorer. I can load the site on Firefox, but for some reason, it now hangs when I try to load the site.
  16. I'm having a problem where I can't edit what I post. Whether it's a thread or reply. When I start a thread, the box full of the editing features that usually pops-up does not pop up. Same with when I reply. When I press Preview Post, the entire box containing my text disappears. When I try to edit a thread or reply, it won't let me save the edit. It gives me an error:TypeError: Cannot read property 'getText' of undefinedAnd it won't even let me space my text. It gets clumped up into one big paragraph. When I enter the Edit interface, I can't press anything. Besides the TypeError, I literally cannot press anything. Please help me out soon, cause I cannot post anything. I have to switch to Firefox, but the loading time on iOSGods for that browser is unbelievably slow.
  17. Hey guys, I'm starting a new series called Design Tips. Hopefully I can continue the Flat and Dynamic series as well
  18. I was thinking about something else. You can also set the opacity to 0, so that it plays, but nobody can see it. Width and height works for fluid and fast responsiveness.
  19. I think you'll need to place the embed code in a DIV or something where you can 'embed' the code into, like place inside. Not really sure, but maybe if you try this in your CSS: opacity: 0; OR display: none;
  20. For a regular desktop background, I recommend 1920x1080. For a retina display, make it double that size, so: 3840x2160 because retina displays hold 2 pixels for every pixel spot. Similar to iPhones and other devices. A regular one is probably 320x568. But retina displays are double that in resolution. As for the background, a simple Apple logo with a clean, slanted shadow on the logo, and some words below it should cover every necessity, unless the user is asking for more than simplicity of course
  21. I've been learning Flat Design on After Effects, and I love it! I'll make a small tutorial in the future :)

  22. It can be done in Photoshop, although the process is way more tedious and requires a LOT more work But most of the assets needed to create an AE intro is used in Photoshop, so, yeah.
  23. Any quote is a good one, unless it's bad Thanks I'll keep in touch with some high-end web junkies once I graduate so I can promote iOSGods
  24. Yeah I had trouble with that one as well. Still dunno why that is.
