If you read the comments, a lot of users have done this method and it worked for them. They have problems but not with the method, but with the .deb files. If you think that this is too complicated, you're just too slow for this. Don't get offended. I think that feature was unique about ifile, that final message that we got after installing a .deb file. However, remember that we are using different "terminals" and different "file managers" so each one of them has their own display messages I guess

Definitely there's something going wrong with the actual substrate. A lot of hacks are showing different sort of problems without any reason ....

Did you downloaded the .deb via safari?? Also make sure tu leave spaces betwen the code: dpkg[space]-i[space]/var/mobile/......

When i first made my tutorial, i added a step where i show how to install a new version of filza called "filza Electracuted". So he's talking about that version of filza. But i removed because the line code i provide is the default path where all the .deb files are being stored by safari web browser. So we were supposed to use filza to move the file or rename it if we want to. But its optional to all users. by the way, did you find a solution??

Yes if you still have the problem post a picture of the error
-
I really suggest you to contact the author of the hack or comment your problem on the hack post to see if there is an issue with it or a solution. Because if you used this method, and you see the hack installed on cydia, it's because it worked. Let me know if you find a solution! contact the author of the hack or comment your problem on the hack post to see if there is an issue with it or a solution.

What is the problem?
-
So what happens when you open the game? It crash?? Or just nothing happens and the game runs normal? If the game runs normal, it's probably because its a different version than the one need it for the hack maybe?
-
I think he forgot to do that. im going to add that line code to respring into the post for those who don't know how to manually respring vía terminal

Hi What tweak are you trying to install? Or when you say Tweak i guess you're talking about the .deb file? and for what app or game are you trying to install the tweak for?
-
I find the problem! Sometimes safari doesn't save the downloaded files on "Documents". Sometimes it saves them on the main path of "mobile". So i updated the post with an alternative line code in case that happens: dpkg -i /var/mobile/nameofthefile.deb
-
hmmm ... interesting. Yea it always should be that path by default. its weird, i cant firgure it out why it gives you a different path....
-
Actually that was my post when i first made it. i wrote the step to do what you mention with filza, but then i delete it and i went straight to the newterm 2, why? Because the path where safari stores or saves all downloads its in " /var/mobile/Documents/ " by default. So when you type that path on terminal it should work without problem. UNLESS, the default path of safari is different, which i have no idea why is different on some devices ... it was different in yours??

Ok, please take a screenshot of the error and post it here by the way... are you adding spaces betwen the code?? it should be like this: dpkg[space]-i[space]/var/mobile/........

What did you do after you downloaded the .deb?? You are using safari browser right?
-
Yes, put the space in there where you write it. did you type "SU" before typing the line code??? read step 3.
-
exactly. that is where safari stores all the downloads.
-
No. just after you done download it dont open filza or anything, just go to the NewTerm 2, do the steps i mentioned, enter the line code, replace the name of the .deb file and hit enter, then do a respring and thats it. Dont change the directory in the line code, because the directory i provide is the default directory where all the .deb files are downloaded.
