Every time I open the game, the mod menu button pops up for a split second, then the game crashes. I've closed and restarted several times and it still does that over and over. Any ideas?

Sorry bro, you can't downgrade without blobs. Stick with your iOS now and just wait. I waited with 10.2 for around 6 months and it was totally worth it. Edit: 10.1.1 was the last jail broken iOS for iP7 FYI.
