i'm on the same version of the game as you (1.7.1) and it worked for me. Altho i only did it for gems. i like toget food and coins normally as i progress thro the game.

So far my gems haven't reset. i only did 85,000 tho and it was only an hour ago. So i guess there is still time for my game amount to reset... like yours did. But so far so good.

I did this and it worked, but a few seconds later it restated my game and my gems went back to their original amount. I am on 1.7.1
