Maybe you got soft-banned by SnapChat... Try to unjailbreak using Cydia Eraser and then see if SnapChat works... Maybe it detects that you're jailbroken

Try to unjailbreak, then restore the firmware of iOS 8.4 and then rejailbreak. See if it works.

I think you are an user that just arrived on the iOS world from Android. The thing is, you can't change the messaging app on iOS. You have to stick to the system one.

Every tweak you install helps consuming the battery a little more, install only the tweaks that you can't live without.
