There are numerous sites explaining some of the reasons: https://www.macworld.co.uk/feature/iphone/is-jailbreaking-my-iphone-or-ipad-safe-3491721/ However, the statement "You'll invalidate your iPhone's warranty." is not true since you can just erase the jailbreak and it will be same as a phone that is not jailbroken. Obviously, you shouldn't go to apple support with a jailbroken phone since the employees might reject your phone. TLDR; It is safe.
