  6. Nowadays so many people possess iPhones. And, they do not have iPhones only to show off; they find these particular smartphones very useful. We use our phones for nearly everything; from contacting our loved ones to paying bills. That is why a bug or a glitch can be so annoying and unbearable. After using your iPhone for some time, it is completely common that it starts ‘malfunctioning’. If you ever feel like your iPhone is running slow, that means there is a certain problem. But, luckily, that problem can be easily solved. 1. Delete Old Photos Let’s face it. You do not look at your photos, that were taken years, every day. Transferring unnecessary photos (and other files) to your computer, and then deleting them is one of the best was to speed up your phone. 2. Delete Unnecessary Apps What takes up even more space than old photos are huge apps that you do not use anymore. The more apps you have, the slower your iPhone is. You can see how much space a single app occupies by going to Settings>General>Usage. 3. Delete Old Text Message Threads Even though you may thing text messages do not take up a lot of your iPhone’s space, the truth is way different. As it turns out, text messages can literally weigh down your phone’s software. To keep your iPhone as fast as possible, you should also delete some of your old message threads. 4. Erase Safari's Cache If you are a computer user, then you probably delete your browser’s cache, history and cookies, right? Well, an iPhone is a mini computer and you should treat it the same way. This means that you need to erase your Safari’s cache every now and then. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History. There you should select Clear Cookies and Data, and you can also delete the other data such as your browser history. 5. Turn Off Auto App Updates You may not even realize this, but allowing your iPhone to auto update your apps can really slow your iPhone down. Sometimes, the reason why your iPhone is running a bit slow is because it is probably trying to update apps in the background while you are doing something else. To turn off this feature go over to Settings>iTunes & App Store >Automatic Downloads. Switch the sliders to off where it says updates. If you are worried that you won’t have the latest, updated versions of your apps, don’t worry. You can update them manually any time an update is available. 6. Turn Off Automatic Downloads Just like automatic updates, automatic downloads can decrease the performance of your iPhone. To turn off this feature head over to Settings>iTunes & App Store >Automatic Downloads and switch the sliders to off. 7. Close All Apps Running in the Background Your phone may be incredibly slow sometimes because a lot of apps are running in the background. To make your phone run smoother, close all the apps that are running in the background. 8. If Something Can Be Done Manually, Do It Manually Any automatic feature, such as previously mentioned auto updates, auto downloads, and even scouting nearby Wi-Fi networks can slow down your phone significantly. Therefore, turn off all the automatic features off, on your iPhone. 9. Restart your iPhone It is a good thing to restart your iPhone every once in a while. This way, you will shut down some of the resources that are probably holding onto your iPhone’s software and weighing it down. 10. Update Your Phone Updating your phone may take up some space, but it is very useful. Software updates usually include bug fixes which can fix some of your iPhone’s issues. 11. Clear iPhone Cache Syncios could help you clear iPhone cache in one click.
