Well, you didn't have to update Cydia Substrate and just uninstalled the hack. It was only crashing because the hack's content is changing other stuff on the new update. That's why it needs to get updated so your game won't crash.

This cheat should work for iOS 8, like what the boss said. ^ The only solution I can find when a cheat does not work is that Cydia Substrate needs to be version 0.9.6011 (at least for me).
