I managed to fix it by rebooting the device and holding the volume up button while it was on the Apple logo. Thanks for attempting to help.

I have an iPhone 6s, running iOS 9.0, and I'm unable to boot it. When i try to restore it via iTunes, I get an error code (such as 3194 or 17) I've checked the hosts file and set it to default, now i'm out of ideas.

You're going to have to downgrade to iOS 9 To do this: Go to https://ipsw.me, download the iOS 9 IPSW and then you go to itunes and go to summary, then you hold down the LSHIFT key and click Restore iPhone. Select your iOS 9 IPSW. Once finished, the iPad will reboot and you will have iOS 9 Next, you must jailbreak your device. Go to http://en.pangu.io and download the iOS 9 jailbreak tool. Then follow the steps. Once you finished jailbreaking, download "Apple File Conduit" from Cydia. This will allow you to access your whole file system using your computer. Once you downloaded Apple File Conduit, you now access your whole file system using iFunBox Hope this helped

what do you mean "for verification purposes"? Try "Burner" from the app store. It generates a phone number, and burns it when you're done with it

There's an app to do it, it's called TextPlus, just sign up for a bunch of accounts, and you get a different phone number each time
