I used l32 in igg for searching the gold mine value, gives you less results and a better chance of the game not crashing. -

Still works for me with the food. I used IGG to search for the War Tactics (Healing 5500) for example and changed the value to -1500000 (Max food storage is 2000000 for me). Sometimes the game crashed but eventually I was able to buy the war tactics for -1500000 and my food amount turned positive afterwards.
