  9. Just learned that the hardest part of hacking a game is compiling -.- so many freaking errors

  10. Thanks mate ^^ but don't worry about it I found out that when I try to compile my hack the system looks for SDK In /var/sdk instead of /var/theos/sdks (where i set it up in) I got the SDK to work But I'm getting a new error Probably a typo in tweak.xm
  11. Thank you soo much So I got to the point of compiling the hack And it appears that the SDK isn't working I'm running on iOS 8.3 iPad Air That SDK is iOS 8.1 It should work, I think but I may need an SDK for 8.3 ---- Anyone have a copy ?
  12. got it, somehow the system is looking for perl in /usr/bin/ but it's located in /usr/local/bin Copied perl and pasted it into /usr/bin/ nic.pl can be found now and the command works. Thanks for the help guys ^^ Took me about an hour to find the cause of the error Anyways for future members who get the same error Just copy Perl from /usr/local/bin And paste into /usr/bin Using iFile
  13. Yes, I have Perl and iOS toolchain I also have iOS SDK and have extracted it in /var/theos/sdks Everything is set up and I have everything I just can't start up nic.pl for some reason
  14. I'm sure that I did, I've tried downgrading theos to several versions, still no prevail
  15. I log in as root And I checked the existence of the file using echo $THEOS/bin/nic.pl and using iFile And it's there But when I run the command $THEOS/bin/nic.pl and /var/theos/bin/nic.pl I get the error "No such file or directory" or "/var/theos/bin/nic.pl: /usr/bin/perl: bad interpreter: No such file or directory" Anyone know how to get around this ? I've tried copying nic.pl into another directory and opening it from there but I still get the same error I have set the permissions to read, write and execute
  16. I didn't know that there's a function like that i just checked it and the minimum is 10$
  17. I can't set up iOS SDK because http://iphone.howett.net/sdks/ seems to be down I have -Perl -Theos -IOS toolchain Already Any tips on how to set up iOS SDK ? I checked my laptop and i had two SDKs there in xcode but they're 220+ mb is it usable?
  18. Is there an existing tutorial on how to create hacks like these ? I've been using the program 'flex' too, if that's what you're talking about editing the methods in the app
  19. Okay so I've been wondering, hacks like infinite energy, mana, credit, etc. usually just edit a value in the game. I've been using game player and game gem for quite some time now And I've edited values in game So I'm guessing that a certain element in the game corresponds to a certain *hex*? Value For example, in a game called WCW: the brave is the winner If you find and edit '17B21354' you're changing the value of the dexterity attribute of a rogue character Soooo one of my questions are, is the value constant? Like, is it the same for everyone ? Is '17B21354' the *hex* value for dexterity in rogues in this specific game? And actual hacks in games (the ones you get installing provided debs) already know the value of an x element and will set it to a certain value like 99999999 if turned on. So, *behind the UI* All a program does is edit and change a *hex* value that it already knows into a preset value ? E.g. [if the hack is turned on] it'll change the *hex* value '17B21354' into 999999999 Okay, after all that typing Last two questions Am I right with my theory on how hacks work? If so, how do I create programs like the hacks that's in the cydia substrate section ? Thanks guys (:
  20. The minimum we have here is 20$ I don't like buying iTunes gift cards using PayPal , I don't trust any of those websites. Don't you have a debit or MasterCard or anything ? Just deposit your money from PayPal to there. Or go get a reloadable prepaid MasterCard from the post office, they had it in Woolworths before but I think they discontinued it I think big w has them too If you wanna do the prepaid MasterCard thing and you're unclear on how to transfer money to it, each card Has its own bsb and account number so you can make a deposit into it. Your card would usually come with a letter saying how to deposit money into it I don't know if you understood what I said because sometimes I don't make sense. Just ask away Also, a perk of a reloadable prepaid credit card is that you can sometimes go waaaaay over what you have because it takes time to process the payment So e.g. You have 20$ on the card You buy something on the AppStore or an IAP It takes time to process it So the system thinks that you still have balance on the card, allowing you to spend another 20$ (This can be abused depending on how long it takes to actually process the payment) I've gotten about 32+$ out of a card with 8.99 in it Of course you'd have a negative balance on your iTunes account And it would be listed as you "owe" them money but you could always say that you bought something once and it won't go through so you did it over and over again but didn't get anything. The apple people would gladly give you a refund (assuming you don't exceed 7 or so refunds) And besides you can always make a new iTunes account (: [i think I write too much sometimes]
