Latitude/longitude setting doesn't work very well (if at all). Set the values then after it had gone to four poke stops I logged in on my phone and none of the poke stops in that area had been visited. So.

A softban is when you try to catch a Pokemon the Pokemon escape and flees every time, you can't battle at gyms (when you go to battle it just ends and returns you to Pokemon screen) and you cannot get items from poke stops.
