Help/Support x86 vs armeabiv-7a? Also a few questions related to an app. (Maple Story M)

So as the title says, whats the purpose for x86 in some games? I've been reading and researching and it seems that you have to mod x86 using IDA, but! using ASM instead (eax, edi, push, pop, edx, edp, esp. etc...). Btw, im associating eax, edi, edx, etc.. with ASM because its what it was used to hack Maple Story on PC. lol i dont even know if ASM is the right term. Anyways

One of my few questions:

1. Do i also have to mod x86 libil2cpp.so along with armeabi-v7a libil2cpp.so? like is it necessary?
I tried modding a function in MapleStory M, which i did not succeed so i went ahead and did the same change on the x86 .so but since it is ASM, i wasnt sure if i was doing the right change or even writing the right thing. So im still in doubt weather i need to mod

both .so

2. I read that if a game has x86 and armeabi-v7a, if you delete the x86 folder and the game still runs it means that x86 is not even required and you can simply just mod armeabi-v7a. How true is this?
I also tried this, but the reason why im bringing this here is because since i didnt see any effect on the changes that i made after deleting x86, so i was not sure if x86 is still needed and modded.

3. Im currently trying to mod MapleStory M, which btw it has x86 and armeabi-v7a, theres actually a Maple Story M mod on this website which increases walking speed and jump height on this website but for iPhones on the iOS section. Can the same mod be done on Android? I'm assuming yes.

My main issue, just like beginner modders, is bypassing mod detection, which to me sounds like "fun" lol because it can be done straight on IDA.
One last question:

4. I've seen game apps under the same company, in this case im trying to mod Maple Story M which is under NEXON company, if i managed to bypass one of NEXON's games, does it mean that the same bypassing method will work in other NEXON games?

These are a few questions of many, i'm fairly new to this website and i can see that member are very knowledgeable and very eager to help, unlike some other modding websites that me and you probably know!
I will keep trying to mod Maple Story M until at least a see a change, weather it be client side or server side lol.

Sorry for the long post, just trying to be as clear as possible. Btw, the only game i succesfully moded using IDA with more than 5 features such as Instant win, Coin mod, All pokemons captured, all mega stones, and score hack to name a few. oh! and no root detection which was easily achieved through a T or F statement on IDA, has been Pokemon Shuffle, but it barely had any protection.

I wouldn’t hack x86 if I were you, there are almost no phones that run that nowadays. Just remove it from the lib folder already, will save space too .

Any phone should be supposed to run armv7.

If the company added anti cheat to their game, the chances are high others games have the same detection.

Thanks for the reply! Im assuming the x86 will be a thing of the past? lol not liek that but barely be used. No wonder when i deleted x86 folder Maple Story booted like normal. Cool.

Yes, that’s safe to say

x86 is emulators. Nexon uses Xigncode Protection and wait till you find arm64 binaries in some games. Good luck!

yeah i have seen arm64 in games like the new pokemon "Pokemon Rumble Rush". Haven't messed with that yet but theres already public damage and God mode it. In that case where there is both "armeabi-v7a" and "arm64-v8a" folders on the same game, arm64 is the one that needs to be modded?

I would say both. Maybe you could try deleting arm64, might work for il2cpp games because armv7 is 32 bit and arm64 is 64 bit, so far all 32 bit unity games worked on my 64 bit but idk why unity started making 64 bit binaries as well
