Save Game How to Install/Apply Hacks Posted in this Section if you're Non-Jailbroken on iOS 8.3 / 8.4 / 9.0+!

Hi! I'm trying to use this with Hollywood Story and it isn't working. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I followed the steps to a tee and still, nothing. Can you please help?

Which iOS Version are you currently on? Do you get an error when restoring or...?

iOS 9.1. I don't exactly get an "error." My phone restarts and everything like you said it will, it's just nothing else happens after that. I open the game and it's not hacked. I guess I just don't really know my way around this non-jailbreaking hack.

Is the save game file you're applying actually hacked?

Oh, I'm not sure. I'm sorry if I'm appearing completely incompetent. I went here: http://iosgods.com/topic/11175-hollywood-story-v20-all-versions-hack-no-jailbreak-required/ and tried to follow all of the instructions, but while reading the comments, I found this post. So, I downloaded iFunbox & iBackupBot, but that's pretty much where I'm stuck.

You're on iOS 9.1 and not jailbroken so you'll just need iTunes and iBackupBot. Can you try the procedure with RoverCraft? To see if this method is still working on iOS 9.1?

Theoretically yes, but not all games are made the same.

So, it worked for that RoverCraft game! YAY! But it won't work for my Hollywood Story game. I can't find a version of it that's been hacked.
