Depends what type of phone it is. If it’s new then I recommend not but if it’s 8 or below then why not

Personally I wouldn’t jb my phone not because it’s new but the old jailbreak I had on my old phone most of the features costed a few bucks and I didn’t really want to spend any money at all

There shouldn’t be much of a reason not to. It’s generally easy to put back to stock if the need arises
