Help/Support Debugserver on IOS 12

Hey gods \o/

Im starting in world of hacking and have some trouble in this journey. First of all, i read and did all "beginners" tutorials. I learned about MS, MS Hooking, and now i want to advance to

IDA and others. I learn somethings about assembly syntaxes and how it works, hex, etc, and sincerely, i'm really enjoying it xD. Lets go to what matters, the troubles

Im using IOS 12 with Unc0ver jailbreak and im trying to start the debugserver. I saw all tutorials here about that, but no success until now. 
 

What i need is, i really want to know how to hack a sub_x game, and as far as i understand i need the debugserver running in my device.

Resuming, how can i run the debugserver in IOS 12?

I've heard all debuggers on IOS 12 are non-functional.

shmoo told me iOS 12 breaks all current debuggers.

 

However, you do not always need a debugger to hack sub_x games. It really depends on the game.

 

If the game is made by Unity, you can use il2cppdumper.

If not, you always have the strings window in IDA, which you can use to hack (xreffing). This normally is easier with a debugger, on some games but it’s not always necessary.

 

Last option; some games have no encrypted (sub_x) function names on android, what you can do is try to get functions from android on ios by comparing for example close strings.

Joey, as i'm starting to hack recently, i have a lot of question yet, and you really help so much with it. I will request you for everything i need . Thank you so so so so much.

Another thing, i saw many tutorial here, but mostly are not updated with recently tools and ios version. Can you recommend some tutorials for beginners please? Something like "compiled tutorial", what's could to teach from beginning to end?

it windows only. However, you can use it with Wine (some program to run windows programs)

 

also, it’s hard to make a tutorial that covers everything, since every game is being hacked differently. The tutorials on here should give you a good basic on how games can be hacked
