Help/Support Does Rollectra work on devices that are not jailbroken?

A friend modified a system file for some reason changing appearance of system version to iOS 7 instead of 11.4.1 on iPhone 5s. Now after rebooting he can’t rejailbreak, and is asking me to convert Rollectra to an ipa so he can use it, believing that is the fix.

i can convert it to ipa no problem from a deb, but I have a feeling that it won’t work unless device is jailbroken, or has an exploit added as Rollectra modifies system files, and I would guess it can’t access them without the device actively being jailbroken. 

I think if he can modify the system file back how it was that would be best course of action, so I have a couple questions.

1.) would Rollectra work as an .ipa file on device in jailed state?

2.) Is there a version of Filza escaped available for 11.4.1 (since that should be best way to fix issue- change system version back to where it should be).

3.) Since Impactor is not working for him with device in current state, is there a cheap service that will add a provisioning profile/ sign it so he can install it? Or is Rollectra available anywhere in a signing service so the user could download app from the device. (I know we don’t advertise hosts of many jailed, tweaked apps because many iOSGods cheats are stolen and hosted there, so if Rollectra is in one of you could PM me that’d be great too.)

PS... I’d use google for some of these questions but have a lot going on, and figured some of you may know off the top of your head the best way to fix. (He can’t jailbreak with latest Unc0ver or Electra due to it saying iOS 7, the number he changed it to, and it’s a 5s, and I don’t think latest Unc0ver has support for A7 chip.)

Nah honestly can’t stand Reddit, at least r/jailbreak. Every time I try to post they have a bot remove it for one dumb thing or another. I think ppl are more helpful here also.  Actually just mentioning signing service would probably be enough for  strike 2 for piracy for me.

( Strike one was linking someone to a tutorial I made on here that showed how to fix a problem they were having). They said this entire domain is piracy. Why they don’t ban twitter I have no idea since there are tons of pirates on there. 🤗

The person eventually gave up and just restored in iTunes. Hope he learned his lesson- don’t change system files unless you know exactly what they do, especially ones as important as system version. We can lock this as unsolved.
