Frequently Asked Questions

How do I download & install Apps?
You will need to tap on the install button inside the app and you may be prompted to "Open in iTunes", tap on OK/Yes then another popup will appear asking if you want to allow app.iosgods.com to install X App onto your iDevice, simply tap "Install" and then check your home screen to see the app is greyed out and "Waiting..." or "Loading...". It may take a while depending on your network connection, the IPA size and the server it's being downloaded from. Once the download is finished and the app is ready to open, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> VPN/Profiles & Device Management then tap on the profile you see there and make sure to Trust it so the app will open. On iOS 16 and higher, there is an extra step you need to perform mentioned below.

Developer Mode Required. How do I enable developer mode on my iOS device to sideload apps?
Since iOS 16+, Apple now requires users to enable "Developer Mode" on their devices in order to allow the sideloading & installation of apps outside of the iOS App Store. To enable Developer Mode go to Settings > Privacy & Security on the iOS device. Scroll down to the Developer Mode list item and navigate into it and enable the developer mode switch. Why do I get the popup saying "Unable to verify App" or "Integrity could not be verified"?
This usually means that the certificate which was used to install the app has been revoked by Apple. Unfortunately, revoking apps is up to Apple, and we can't do much to prevent revocations right now. To fix this, visit the iOSGods App or official hack topic on iOSGods and re-download the (modded) app once it has been signed with a new certificate. Alternatively, please use Sideloadly, TrollStore or iOSGods App+ to install your favorite apps.

Why do I doesn't get the IPA show up in VPN Profile settings to verify & trust it?
This usually means that the certificate which was used to install the app has been revoked by Apple. Unfortunately, revoking apps is up to Apple, and we can't do much to prevent revocations right now. To fix this, visit the iOSGods App or official hack topic on iOSGods and re-download the (modded) app once it has been signed with a new certificate. Alternatively, please use Sideloadly, TrollStore or iOSGods App+ to install your favorite apps.

When do the apps get re-signed? When is there going to be a new certificate?
Unfortunately, this is completely out of our control as we rely on third parties to supply these certificates to us. There are no ETAs. Apple is not making it any easier, thus the constant revoke waves. Please use Sideloadly or iOSGods App+ while the iOSGods App is revoked. You can occasionally check the app to know if we're signed or not, otherwise follow our Twitter (@iOSGodsCom) as we usually tweet when we're signing. Why do I get the popup saying "Unable to download App"?
This error is usually caused when there's an issue with the server, IPA, your connection, or the certificate has been revoked. In any case, you should try downloading again at a later time. Trying to download on a different network (even a VPN) might also help. Alternatively, some members have reported that pausing and continuing the download a few times (tap the app icon) until completion also helps. Make sure you are not downloading multiple things at the same time, this includes from other devices that may be connected to the same network.

Do I have to sideload the app again every 7 days?
iOSGods App/Easy Install IPAs are signed with Enterprise Certificates, so you will not need to resign every 7 days. The apps can last up to 1 year, however, Apple may revoke the certificate thus making all the already installed apps to crash. If that happens, check the iOSGods App to grab the new download.

The App is Stuck on Waiting...?
If the app on your home screen reads "Waiting..." that means the IPA is being downloaded to your iDevice and that you should wait until the download and installation is finished. It may take a while depending on the server or your network connection. If you receive the unable to download app message, try using a VPN to download. Alternatively, some members have reported that pausing and continuing the download a few times (tap the app icon) until completion also helps.

The iOSGods App is Stuck on Installing...? No install popup appearing?
Please disable any VPNs or iCloud Private Relay you may have enabled and try again. Reinstalling or logging out and back in may also help. Alternatively, try visiting the iOSGods App Store on a different browser on your iDevice.

Clicking the Install link does nothing?
On iOS 9/10 or lower, this usually means that you have the original app from the App Store installed and iOS cannot replace it with the new hacked app. You will need to uninstall the App Store app from your home screen first then click on the link again. Some Easy Install apps will install as duplicates without replacing the original App Store app. Alternatively you can use the Custom Duplicate Install feature inside the app.

All my apps are suddenly crashing out of nowhere when it used to work before!?
This usually means that Apple has revoked the certificate that was used to install the app. In order to fix this, you will need to uninstall the current app and reinstall the new one from the iOSGods App. Unfortunately, revoking apps is up to Apple, and we can't do much to prevent revocations right now. This is one of the reasons for crashing, for more reasons, please read below.

Downloaded app is having unexpected/weird/startup crashes?
There seems to be a weird bug that affects some users regarding iCloud Drive. To potentially fix this, please go to your iOS Settings and search for "iCloud Drive". Tap on the first result and disable iCloud Drive and then test the app.

Do I require a Computer for iOSGods App?
Not at all. iOSGods App only works on your iOS Device. Unless you use the option to download the IPA to your computer so you can sideload with Sideloadly.

Do I require Jailbreak for iOSGods App?
Not at all. iOSGods App is targeted towards the Non-Jailbroken devices and users who cannot Jailbreak or do not know what Jailbreaking is. However, even Jailbroken devices can use the iOSGods App.

Download .IPA option for Cydia Impactor disabled?
The Cydia Impactor download option is only enabled when the normal app installs fail to work, e.g. when the certificate is revoked. Please use Sideloadly instead. For more information, please read the official topic.

I created my iOSGods Account via Facebook/Google/Twitter, how do I login to the iOSGods App now?
You will need to convert your iOSGods Account to a local one so you can login with your Display Name & Password. To do so, please follow this topic.

Can I download apps using 3G/4G/5G/Mobile Data?
Yes, however be aware that some apps are quite big and may consume a lot of your data.

Constantly getting "Visit us using your iOS Device" even though I am on my iPhone/iPad?
This is an issue with iOS 13+. If you receive this popup, a simple fix is to request the mobile version of the iOSGods App via the "Aa" icon on the URL bar. If you do not see that, then please open Settings -> Safari -> Request Desktop Website -> Turn OFF. Then try downloading again.

Can I make legit In-App Purchases on the Hacked Apps?
Unfortunately, no. Apple prevents In-App Purchases from working on sideloaded/enterprise installed apps. If you want to support developers, install the original App Store version and purchase IAPs there.

How can I update the iOSGods App?
iOSGods App is a web-app which means that the app will update itself over the air. So you do not need to reinstall or update or do anything to the iOSGods App as it will automatically update itself. In some cases, you may need to clear your Safari data & cache in order to see the new changes. To do so, go to: Settings -> Safari -> Clear History & Website Data. You should now that this will clear website data for all websites.

Does the iOSGods App work on Android?
No, iOSGods App does not support Android devices at this time.

Download Limit Reached? How can I bypass this limit?
This limit had to (temporarily) be applied because too many users were downloading from the app at the same time which in turn caused slow speeds for everyone involved. If you receive this message, try again after 24 hours, or consider ranking up on our Community. Certain ranks and iOSGods App+ do not have this limitation.

How can I use the Custom Install feature on the iOSGods App?

How do I disable/remove ads on the iOSGods App?
Please rank up your iOSGods account to disable and remove the ads on the app. More information on how to rank up can be found here. Otherwise, adding or installing the iOSGods App to your home screen works much better as the ads will not open in a new tab but rather in-app where you can easily dismiss.

I accidentally added/subscribed to a calendar spam, how do I remove it?
Although they haven't done anything to combat it, Apple has made an article about this here. And a video tutorial here.

I accidentally installed adware from the ads on the iOSGods App, how do I remove it?
On Windows, please install and run Malwarebyte's AdwCleaner to remove any unwanted programs and adware you may have on your computer.

App is crashing on launch after it was successfully installed #1?
This is a new issue that is affecting some devices on some specific iOS versions. We do not know what is causing this, but we believe it may be Apple's attempt at stopping 3rd Party App Stores from working. There seems to be a weird bug that affects some users regarding the region of your iDevice. To potentially fix this, please go to Settings -> General -> Language & Region and change your Region to another country and try opening the app. Then you can change your Region back to what it was.

How can I (temporary) access Unverified/Revoked Apps?
Recently it was discovered that you can access your unverified apps by following these steps:
1. Open Settings -> Safari -> Clear History & Website Data (This will clear all website history and data. It will log you out of every website.)
2. Enable Airplane mode and disable Wi-Fi/Mobile Data
3. Open the revoked/unverified app.

My question is not answered and I still need help.
