Tutorial How to install duplicate apps no jailbreak [WITH VIDEO]

Hello there, this is my first tutorial so idk how good it'll be but ill try to make it simple and easy to understand

REQUIREMENTS:

Windows computer and iDevice (obviously)
Cydia compactor installed on your device
a USB iPhone cable
a plist file editor
Winrar (free version lol)

Step 1. Change the file extension of your .IPA file to .zip

Step 2. Open it with Winrar, and, if there is just one folder there, open it, and if there is one folder inside that and thats all thats there, open that one. but in the most usual case of there being only one folder open that folder and find info.plist

Step 3. Open info.plist with your plist editor, then do CTRL + F . now copy and paste this into the search box, " CFBundleIdentifier ". press find then and when you find it look directly below it there will be a string that will be ordered like below

<string>com.blayzegames.newfps</string>

edit that into something like

<string>iOSGods.com.GameName</string>

what that does is make it so that when you install this IPA it will not detect it as the app you are trying to duplicate, which will allow you to duplicate it. when you are done save it, and exit the plist editor

Step 4. If winrar ask to update changed then accept it and then exit out of winrar, and change the extension of the file from .zip back to .ipa

Step 5. Connect your iDevice to your pc via USB cable

Step 6. Use winrar to extract the Cydia impactor that you installed then run Impactor.exe

Step 7. you will see 2 textboxes, one saying your phone name, and one on the bottom saying install cydia extender. you want to drag your duplicate .ipa file into the bottom textbox which says install cydia extender, it will ask for your apple id information, if it says you need to get an app specific password you can do that at https://appleid.apple.com .

Step 8. when it finishes installing everything, which will come right after Verifying Application, go to your phone homescreen on the page where your duplicate app is installed. if you can open and run it, congratulations you did it but if it says you need to trust something go to

Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management > [email protected] > Trust

And boom, your done and have installed a duplicated app without overwriting anything.

heres a tip for if you do it, if you went back to the end of step 2, and instead of going to info.plist went into settings.bundle (or whatever has root.plist), and edited that file you could change the label below the app in the home screen to help tell the difference

Extras

Winrar has an unlimited free trial so don’t worry about it running out. Remember before you run Cydia impactor to change the file extension back to .ipa . Also an extra way to do it which is a bit harder if you have winzip but no free trial left is you change the file name to .zip, right click the zip file and hover the mouse over winzip in the menu there, then when the sidebar pops up than you press create self extractor (.exe). Then when it asks to test press ok but change the location to desktop.

you will see a folder called payload inside of that there is info.plist. Follow the steps to change it than upload it to mega.nz inside of a folder. Then when it’s done uploading to mega.nz download it from mega.nz AS A ZIP FILE.

Change the extension to .ipa, than open Cydia impactor and install the hack.
