Just tried on 2 different devices and still stuck at same...Chris is just standing there with the lock over his head.  It seems non responsive.  Keep us posted and I can try again.

For the Stewie Bucks you should be able to buy using coins too if you view the other features. One sure way to earn lots of coins is by getting something in the shop that is free but sells for a lot of coins. Like the Stewie Dictator statue. It is free but sells for 30,000 coins. Buy 10, then sell 10 and you’ve got yourself a hefty pocket full of 300,000 coins. Go trade them for Stewie Bucks.

One guaranteed solution is to download the normal version from the App Store, get past the point which you are stuck, link that save to a Facebook, Google, or Family Guy account (you can create with an email and password) then delete the app and reinstall the hack. Next all you’ll need to do is go to settings and sign in with the account you linked. Viola.

Sorry but if you can’t get passed Chris, this means you can’t get to open the settings menu to Load a save game. So please fix this issue. This is ridiculous. I pay for VIP version for a reason!

indeed i can't access it if i can't get pass Chris - if it was Chris Evans i would agree - who would ever passed him, but this Chris is too far off for redemption
