iPhone X headphone adapter popping sound issue

Hi, so I'm having this issue with my headphones and my iPhone X adapter.

This is a genuine Apple iPhone X headhphone adapter so I know it's not that, but when I insert my headphones (they're Turtle Beach with a detachable mic), I hear this ticking sound over and over. Every second it's going *tick* *tick*, then when I type it'll increase the volume of that ticking sound matching the typing on the keyboard sound. It's weird but maybe someone on here knows how to fix it.

I have another set of headphones which works, but I prefer using my Turtle Beach. I doubt there's a fix; I've even gone ahead with turning the volume up and down on my headset (someone suggested it) and that didn't do anything.

Much appreciated.

I have the same problem, it's good that I found this thread. THC, thanks a lot for this link! I registered on this forum to say this. Frankly, I'm tired of solving problems with my iPhone, something is constantly wrong with it, I'm thinking about switching to a device that works on Android. I have heard that they are more durable. And I recently ordered fake AirPods that I can't connect to my iPhone, but they work well on my friend's Samsung. So I think I'll sell my iPhone and buy a Samsung. By the way, if someone is looking for cheap headphones with high-quality sound, then you can look at the review of the best fake AirPods and find something for yourself.
