EDIT: I was wrong! Gold works, YES. You gotta win a battle the the gold set and active, then you'll receive that amount!

I just figured out that the gold comes when you win a battle, with the amount set on the hack!
SO, SO SORRY.

IT WORKS!
Haven't tested the rest since all I wanted was the gold, really. Don't want to overhack and lose interest in the game hahaha.
