General How to unpack an application?

Anyone can give me basic steps on how to unpack a mobile application? (A game for iphone/android)

 

I dont intend to alter the code, i just want to read it

 

-> I just want to see the effect of a skill of a character in a mobile game that 'heals 20% of hp' - if heal amount is 20% of char giving heal or 20% of char receiving the heal.

you can unpack an application with WinZip or any zip file. just open the .ipa file with it. as per if you want to hack an app, you can open it with IDA Pro . you can find the tutorials there in Tutorials section.
