Help/Support iOS 8.1.1 to iOS 8.1.1²

Hi,

 

i had some issues with my iPhone, some of my apps crashed automatically since yesterday, so I tried semi-restore to restore and keep my jb but my apps still crashing.

 

I wanted to know if my jailbreak was the cause, but without restore..

So I tried a tweak "Cydia Lost" for unjailbreak without restore and keep iOS 8.1.1. 

It seems to work but my apps still crash and I'm sure it's the jb, that's why I want to restore completly my iPhone but not in 8.3, can I keep my 8.1.1 ? I have the shsh.

If you are jailbroken update to ios 8.1.2

I'm not jailbroken anymore, I tried to jailbreak my iPhone again but the Taig tools block at 30%, i tried to reboot my computer, iPhone, airplane mode, delete iCloud, find my iPhone... no way still at 30%

Well semi-restore IS a complete restore with the fact keeping your jailbreak. You cannot upgrade or downgrade without losing your jailbreak. Other iOS versions possible for you are: iOS 8.3, iOS 8.4

You can't restore below that so if you prefer your jailbreak leave it as it is and search new ways to fix your crash

 

If you are jailbroken update to ios 8.1.2

Ok thank you. The shsh is useless for now ? Useless for my problem I mean.

 

For my jailbreak do you know why taig tool gets stuck at 30% ? Because if I can jailbreak my device again I'll wait until a jb for ios 8.3 or 8.4

TinyUmbrella announced the SHSH blobs to be used in the future so I guess you keep them and may be able to downgrade from iOS 9 to 8.x.x

 

I never ran into problems with jailbreak tools sorry Maybe Google knows more. JailbreakQA and Reddit are perfectly for that

Semi-restore never fixed my issue at first. I had to run it twice for it to be successful. Have you ran it more than once?

Yea, the first time I used semi restore, impossible to boot, freeze on Apple Logo. Then I tried again, work fine but crash, so I did it again but the semi restore wasnt enough for my problems.
