Help/Support Infected box glitch

I picked up by mistake an infected box and I tried to shut down the game and reopen it to get rid of it but it didn't put me back on the map, it put me back into the base. I already had one on the chopper so there was nothing I could do.

For me, when I face this situation I let myself die so I’ll be in my home without that infected box.

If You  was in house Let yourself  die also but The box will be on the land near to your last body.
