hey so im new to this site and it seems cool, im thinking of jail-breaking but ive been told my network provider may cut me off or something along those lines? is this likely and is it worth jail-breaking? thanks

not sure one of my friends told me? they said the network provider can see and may do it but im not sure

just found a post from 2011 so not sure if it still is true "The network provider can't see if it's jailbroken or not. They might be able to detect if you're using Skype over 3G or other non-3G apps but they won't be able to discover it by simply jailbraking it.31 Jan 2011"
