I have downloaded five different deb files from here.  I SSH'd apps onto iphone, then NewTerm2 to install them . All five apps show as installed inside cydia but none of the apps I have tried to install actually show up outside of cydia on the springboard.  I am not sure what I am missing in needing to get them to show up. I am on IOS 11.1.2 on latest Electra release on an iPhone 8 Plus. Thanks for your assistance.

I just tried uicache, then killall SpringBoard and no app icons are showed after respring

Well that's not a app. You have to open LDOE in order to see the Mod Menu popup.
