Help/Support Mirror's edge won't save game progress

I used to play Mirror's edge on iPad a couple years ago. I was very attached to this game before Apple decided to remove it... Recently I was able to install the unofficial .ipa on iPad 3 (v. 9.3.5). The game works perfectly as it used to, but the only problem is it won't save progress so I have to replay levels each time to unlock them in Multiplayer. This is the error message I get when I start the game "There is not enough space on this handset to save the game. Free some memory to allow game progress to be saved." Any help would be much appreciated.
