General How Do You Really Hack?

Hi! So recently I've been into learning coding, making games and attempting to hack games. Although I have one problem. I don't know where to start with hacking games. I would love if somebody told me what most games use as a Coding language, how they hack it (eg. what applications they use, etc) and more basic info.

Basically you can start with making simple tweak hacks or if you are good a coding move onto IDA which is an application you can use to modify the binary of an IPA (iOS application).

But you may also want an answer from some 'better hackers' than me lol so i'll leave that to them.
