Update a Jailbroken PS3 to latest CFW

requirements:

Jailbroken console

USB with at least 2 GB

PC

 

 

 

1. Go to Rebug.me and download the latest CFW available
2. Once downloaded create 2 folders, one named PS3 and the other UPDATE
3. Place the update file u just downloaded into the UPDATE folder, then Place the UPDATE folder inside of the PS3 Folder.
4. so on your desktop you should have 1 folder called PS3, with another folder called UPDATE on the inside.
5.  Copy the PS3 folder on your USB and plug it into your console.
6. On your console go to System Update (via storage media) 
7.  An update should show up, Example "Rebug 4.8.2 D-REX"
8. Click the file then update

 

CONGRATS!!! YOU UPDATED YOUR JAILBROKEN CONSOLE!!!
