I keep getting cannot access archive after typing in the deb

Yes, put the space in there where you write it.

did you type "SU" before typing the line code??? read step 3.

Yes I did I entered password and then root # pops up

What did you do after you downloaded the .deb?? You are using safari browser right?

Yeah after I click on download now a tab opens up and says “open in”

are you adding spaces betwen the code?? it should be like this:

dpkg[space]-i[space]/var/mobile/........

I  figured out the issue. The error is saying no such file exists in that specific directory path.

 

To fix it, you need to open up the file in FilzaEscape and manually move it to /var/mobile/Documents and THEN run the dpkg command in NewTerm2

 

I think he forgot to mention that part. I had the same error and that worked for me

Actually that was my post when i first made it. i wrote the step to do what you mention with filza, but then i delete it and i went straight to the newterm 2, why? Because the path where safari stores or saves all downloads its in " /var/mobile/Documents/ " by default. So when you type that path on terminal it should work without problem. UNLESS, the default path of safari is different, which i have no idea why is different on some devices ...

I think so. Maybe the download link I clicked didn't actually "download" rather it just gave me a file?

 

I had to copy it into Filza and move it to the right path
