I have tried IMazing's method but to no avail since there were never any save files to replace with. Tried playing the game for a while so as to generate the save files but they are still not showing up. 

Ios is updated with the most recent and iphone isn't jailbroken though. Is it confirmed that this only works on JB phones now?

I have an iPhone running 11.3 beta 6, and an iPad running 11.2.2 and 11.2.6 (I upgraded during this process to see if anything would make a difference). both are NON-jailbroken. I am backing up using iMazing, following the new 2018 tutorial, and this is what I see inside the app package:

It looks like the No_Backup folder...might not be getting backed up by tools that respect the "hey don't back this up" flag; not sure if there's a way around this other than JB.
