Help/Support Forgot passcode for my old iphone 4s I left in a drawer for a few years

So I was looking through some stuff in my home and I came across my old iphone 4s and I forgot the 4 digit passcode. I tried every passcode I thought I would have used back then and none of them worked.

 

Long story short, if I could get some advice on where or how to fix my old iphone or possibly some sort of cracking software, that would be great.

 

I sadly don't remember what IOS the iphone is currently running and im certain its not jailbroken.

Restore to latest firmware, downgrade back to 6.1.3, 8.4.1

The iPhone 4S can restore to iOS 9.3.5 which can be jailbroken so you can update to that.

Or I think if you have a backup for that version you can restore to that if you know the passcode on that backup.

You can check what iOS version it is on by plugging it into a computer running Windows can clicking properties on it when it shows up as a device in Windows Explorer. It should display the iOS version there if you are interested.

Thanks, now all ill need to do is to see if iTunes can run on WINE.

why would you need it to run on wine?

After the whole dumpster fire that was windows 10 and how microsoft showed that they are now even more anti-consumer than apple I no longer own any computers with windows operating systems.
