So what’s the get around for this? Only attempt missions that you know you’ve got a faster hero? Unlock BW and put everything into making her the fastest?  The original hacks are clearly working, but they affect the enemy too and as a result more often than not they seem to affect them in a much more positive way. I had the same problem with the 1 encounter hack with no attackers or defenders.

No. Have both downloads on your pc. When it happens delete the no attack one. Install the one where they do attack, play the match then delete it and install the no attack one again. That’s how I get around it. Only way for now, re-installing the same app don’t fix it.

Instead of deleting and re-installing app/hack, why not just have both and use them accordingly? Saves more time. DiDA created a tutorial on how to do achieve this below:

You can overwrite sideloaded apps so you don't have to keep installing and reinstalling also.
