If you have enemy does not attack you need to go first or you won’t get a turn. To go first you need the fastest character in that particular matchup then you will go first and continue going. 

 

I posted a list of the top fastest characters from heroes and villains on page 30 if it helps anyone. Just make sure one of your character has a higher speed than anyone on the opposing team and you win ?

Actually I find that in certain match-ups, even if you have the fastest toon, the opposing team will still attack you to death or taunt you until you give up. I haven't really figured out the reason why but maybe there are certain passives that increase the opposing team's speed and we are not taking that into consideration as far as speed goes. It's really annoying when you think your Gamora will wipe out the entire opposing team but then a low level Kree Royal Guard starts to forever taunt you!

Yea iv found that too but it only appears to be in pve matches, iv checked the opponents speed and its where it should be so it must be something that makes them go first no matter the speed (like raid han if you play swgoh)

 

Edit: (when I say pve iv only found it happens in challenges and alliance raids)
